Our Team

Keri Jones

Keri Jones is the founder of Roots Shoots & Boots and the driving force behind Feonyx Administration Solutions Technology.

Bringing together more than 30 years of commercial experience, Keri combines strategic business thinking with a deep-rooted understanding of the operational pressures faced by horticultural, grounds maintenance and service-based businesses.

Her strengths lie in ethical leadership, operational structure and the ability to turn complex processes into practical, workable systems that support long-term sustainable growth.

After successfully growing Roots Shoots & Boots in Tavistock, Devon, Keri recognised a recurring challenge across the horticultural industry, many hardworking businesses were spending huge amounts of time managing administration, scheduling, compliance and operational coordination using fragmented systems that were limiting efficiency and scalability.

This experience became the foundation for Feonyx Administration Solutions Technology. Keri’s vision for FAST was to create operational software designed specifically for practical outdoor businesses , software that supports organisation, efficiency and business growth without losing the personal, people-focused nature of the industry.

Above all, Keri believes good business should feel aligned, with people, with purpose and with sustainable long-term growth.

Andrew Wing

Andrew draws on a wealth of experience gathered in almost 30 years in the accountancy industry, dealing with a wide range of size and type of clients, looking after individual clients and their personal tax affairs and future tax planning, through to multi-national manufacturing and  distribution companies, national charities and organisations, across many sectors and industries, mostly at manage and partner level, and more than 20 years as a qualified Chartered Accountant.

A long career dealing with certain larger and charitable organisations, in the private and third sector, has allowed Andrew to utilise his legal background to ensure compliance and tight governance for his clients, advising not only on financial matters and helping those clients understand what the figures mean, but also on increasingly onerous compliance and reporting requirements.

An understanding of the structure of organisations, from both a tax-efficiency and operational perspective, has allowed Andrew to add value to clients of all size, where there is no “one size fits all” solution, developing an ability to adapt to the changing economic climate and advise accordingly.

Underpinning Andrew’s work is a real sense of approachability, humanity and the sense of community, the true value of meeting clients face to face and dealing with an individual as a person, not merely a number or piece of work.

Katherine Wing

Katherine started her career in accountancy over 20 years ago – a natural progression from her first class degree in Mathematics where she was able to use her attention to detail and skill in logical thinking.  With a short break to start a family, she held various volunteer roles, supporting other mums, before returning to work.

Katherine’s work & volunteer experiences give her the skills and knowledge to support the business journey from initial idea or concept, over the hurdles, provide support through the stumbles and see it through to fruition.

It is Katherine’s passion for the environment and all things sustainable, however, that really aligns her with this project.  Involved in a local zero waste shop and other local environmental organisations, she is very passionate that activity should enhance nature and work together with the wonderful natural resources which were once so abundant and now need our care.

Katherine is a strong individual but really shines as part of team, considering all aspects of issues that arise and assisting with problem solving.
